The Artist in the Marketplace (AIM) Program provides professional opportunities to emerging artists in the NYC area. Artists are introduced to a variety of speakers: artists, accountants, collectors, critics, curators, dealers, and lawyers. Information on practical areas of concern to artists, including, but not limited to: curatorial practice, copyright law, exhibition and public art opportunities, gallery representation, grants writing, income taxes, and marketing are addressed. The program culminates with an annual group exhibition from both sessions and accompanying catalogue.
